Sam Spencer and Wendy Roloson, founded Spencer Roloson Winery in 1998, with a single goal in mind: To make wines that reflect our vineyards, remaining true to their varietal character. Guided by that goal, we targeted the vineyard sites, designed, selected, and planted the vines to pursue the highest quality of wine making. Dirt to finished bottle, we have meticulously built our brand together, contributing to different aspects but always coming back to our single vision.

We are dedicated to the wines of the Rhône Valley and Spain and attempt to create wines that reflect their heritage. Grenache Blanc, Viognier, Syrah, Tempranillo and Zinfandel - not the typical lineup coming out of the Napa Valley, but they demonstrate the breadth and versatility of our sites.

Together Sam and Wendy have created, built, designed, planted and grown Spencer Roloson. Every aspect of the company has their personal mark and every decision is viewed as an ongoing opportunity to learn more and improve the process. They have a similar vision: To grow and produce exceptional wines without limitation.
